Upcoming Development: Connecticut Film and Digital Media Center

CFC’s largest expansion will come in 2009 with the development of a 38-acre comprehensive motion picture & digital media production center in Stamford, Connecticut. Leveraging its location on the outskirts of New York City, CFC is developing a campus that will include television and motion picture soundstages and support facilities, but will also include accommodations for companies working in animation, visual effects, advertising, and video game/website development. This “Entertainment Cluster” will become the epicenter of all things creative in Connecticut’s burgeoning film and digital media industries. Expected to encompass as much as 800,000 sq.ft. when completed, this complex will also contain extended stay housing, restaurants and retail.
